Senior Research Associate in Neuro-Immunology

Interon Laboratories, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join us in pioneering neuro-immunotherapy for brain disorders. We are developing therapeutics for autism, depression and anxiety. Our unique approach merges a neuro-immune mapping platform to identify brain circuits regulated by cytokines with a proprietary cell-based platform for the screening of biologics and small molecule therapeutics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and perform biochemical, molecular, and cell-based assays (qRT-PCR,Western blotting, ELISAs, etc) in a laboratory setting.
• Accurately document findings and lab records
• Perform multiple assays within the same day and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Key qualifications include:

• Successful candidate must have bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology or a related field with 3-6+ years of proven experience.
• Hands on experience in biochemistry, molecular biology and mammalian tissue culture techniques is required and experience in small molecule discovery is preferred.
• We are seeking for a candidate who values attention to detail and a collaborative style that fosters teamwork and inclusivity.

This is a full-time position for a period of 1–2 years, beginning Summer/Fall 2023 (start date is negotiable). Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States.
