Treat your taste buds to some traditional Persian delicacies as we gather to celebrate Norouz ("new day"), the traditional Iranian festival of spring. It's been a long week (not to mention a long winter) and it's only fitting that we honor a holiday that commemorates the exact moment of the vernal equinox, commencing the start of the spring. Considered the start of the New Year among Iranians and others, Norouz has been celebrated for over 3,000 years.
