Topic: Advancing Cell & Gene Therapy from Research to Manufacturing
Dr. Antoine Heron will be onsite to share his expertise in cell therapy and regenerative medicine. His research work has led to the commercialization of preservation solutions for tissue and organ transplantation, single-use closed systems, medical devices and specialty defined cell culture media used in the clinical production of stem cell therapy products. He has worked for the Life Science Division of Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany) for nearly 10 years, where he is currently in charge of commercial development within an organization delivering solutions for gene editing, cellular and disease modeling as well as for cell and gene therapy manufacturing.
