The art world looking too stuffy? Fear not, we have Boston based MerkThose coming to Gallery 1832!

Boston based artist MerkThose is a unique talent in the contemporary art scene. With over twenty year’s experience stemming from a street art beginning, his styles dances between mediums ranging from digital portraiture to large scale spray can art murals. This self-taught creative has birthed a stand-alone style blending disciplines and breaking rules to build his body of work. Through years of focus and determination his imagery has landed in some of the most unlikely places as well as world renowned venues such as Upest in the UK to Art Basel in Miami, topped by a live painting demo at The Museum of Fine Arts Boston for its very first overnight showing! Alongside this MerkThose spends much of his time travelling, leaving his mark on the city walls of Atlanta, New York, San Diego and Amsterdam to name a few. This year plans on being just as inspiring with a new art book soon to be released as well as more solo MerkThose exhibitions in the pipline.
