“My work forges a visual language filled with iconic, recognizable imagery, such as the bed and other interior settings, matched with forced perspective and a bold color palette. Psychology is a driving force for my work. This series explores the discovery of self and identity of how we form our closest relationships in life. Finding myself aware of my authentic feelings becomes an inner dialogue in my home. The combination of these objects with an exterior ambiguity and a forced perspective initiates a thoughtful examination of the interior spaces of the mind."
