This panel explores funding mechanisms to build early company value prior to venture investment, and, potentially, as an alternative to venture. Leveraging the experiences of both entrepreneurs and funding sources, the panel will explore academic-industry partnerships, government grants, accelerator competitions, and other options that can be used to resource and validate early life science ideas to the next stage of growth.
