Presentation: Engineering Solutions for Emerging Biotechnologies

A review of previous engineering solutions and concepts of filtration, specifically HEPA followed by a look at adaptations of those existing technologies. Examples of new engineering solutions will be examined for applications requiring unique geometries/specific needs including nanotechnology and nanoparticles, DNA/CRISPR research, flow cytometry, cytotoxic drug development, hypoxia research, and toxic, volatile compounds.
