Each year, LabCentral awards Ignite Golden Tickets to women founders and founders of color, providing crucial support and access to early-stage entrepreneurs. Recipients participate in a year-long fellowship where LabCentral works to supercharge their networks and provide mentorship opportunities as they build their biotech businesses. In this new series, Ignite the Future, we highlight several professionals, starting with Anjali Kumar, who generously offered their time and expertise to mentor Ignite Fellows.
Anjali Kumar is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the VP and Head of Business Development at Cellarity, a Flagship Pioneering Company, she spearheads business development activities for their unique AI/ML-enabled platform. Anjali’s career path has included both large and small pharma companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Shire, Wyeth, Pharmacia & Upjohn; emerging companies, such as Cellarity, Flexion Therapeutics and Critical Therapeutics; and consulting company Clinquest, Inc.
With a proven track record of contributing to multiple approved drugs and elucidating scientific mechanisms now targeted by various therapies, Anjali brings deep scientific and operational expertise to her role.
