Victoria Ravenelle

Associate Manager, Procurement

Victoria Ravenelle is the Associate Manager of Procurement at LabCentral. She assists scientists, support staff, and the LabCentral team with their purchasing needs and is a point of contact for the Stork e-procurement system. She also works with vendors and facilitates their integration into the LabCentral system. Prior to LabCentral, Victoria worked at Boston Children’s Hospital for the division of endocrinology. She also spent two years serving as a full-time AmeriCorps volunteer in the cities of St. Louis and Boston. Victoria earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies: arts and sciences from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with minors in biology, health sciences, and communication studies. 

Favorite school science project: "I grew up in a home where music, spanning all decades and genres, was always on. In elementary school I heard music could affect the growth of plants, and so I wanted to test the theory. While I did not understand the mechanisms behind it at the time, I was excited to see how classical music resulted in more lush growth, compared to the control plants with no music."
