Site Head, Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab

Tim is the Site Head at the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab in Allston. As Site Head, Tim is responsible for making sure the LabCentral team provides Residents with everything they need to function successfully within the lab and office spaces. He intends to maximize the experience of every Resident that comes through the Life Lab, by helping to curate a community where companies can mature and fully realize their potential. Previously, Tim has worked as a bench scientist and team leader in the drug delivery and medical device space. Tim went to Connecticut College (Go Camels!) where he majored in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Outside of work, Tim and his wife Hannah recently welcomed their first child, Ayla, and are quickly learning how to be new parents.

Favorite Science Experiment: It’s so hard to choose between my favorite lab processes (precipitation micronization and dialysis to name a few).  But, to me, there’s nothing more satisfying than rotovapping.  There is an elegant combination of lab techniques required to execute a flawless rotovap session and powder collection, it’s something I definitely miss about my lab days!
