Shalika is originally from Brockton, MA currently living in Providence, RI where she owns a plant shop with her wife called Botanical Bar. Before LabCentral, Shalika worked in retail for 8 years. When not at LabCentral she enjoys journaling, watching documentaries, and exercising her creative brain anyway that she can.

Favorite Science Experiment: My most memorable science experiment would have to be dissecting a frog when I was in high school. It did leave me a little scarred, but it’s something that will never leave my mind. A part of science I’ve always been interested in is neuroscience-- the brain and its potential really fascinate me.
