Jefferson Francois is the Concierge at LabCentral and is the first person you’ll see upon entering our doors. His passion for meeting new people, especially those who work tirelessly to help improve the life of others, is what attracted him to the life sciences industry and ultimately here at LabCentral. Previously, Jefferson recruited and managed the careers of biotech professionals and kept them engaged in clinical development programs they enjoyed working on. His appreciation for connecting with others and building lasting relationships has encouraged him to pick up a few languages along the way, five to be exact. He welcomes being challenged in those languages as he is getting a little rusty.
Favorite school science project: "I took an environmental science class where six of us were tasked to build a portable telephone booth for CIC! We barely even knew how to tie our shoes properly and now we had to actually build something! The end result resembled a blown up wooden barbie doll house / photo booth. The best part of the project hands down was delivering it to CIC. We had to walk about 2 miles in Cambridge pushing this thing where we had heads turning, people stopping us and wanting to take pictures. Needless to say, we were very proud at what we built."
