Favorite Science Experiment: "My favorite school science project was looking for microscopic animals in ocean water and discovering a whole invisible world of weird little critters. Tardigrades were always the most exciting, especially when my invertebrate zoology class at Warren Wilson College helped discover a new species of the genus Stygarctus on a field trip to South Carolina!"
