Connor Toomey

Lead, EHS

Connor Toomey is the EHS Lead at LabCentral. In his role, Connor helps to enable LabCentral’s residents to be safe and compliant in their research. He works to support LabCentral’s safety culture and be a resource for researchers on safety. Before joining LabCentral, Connor worked as a EH&S Consultant supporting research and development companies with environmental compliance and lab safety. Prior to consulting, Connor worked for Triumvirate Environmental providing support for waste programs, compliance, and emergency response for biotech facilities in the Boston area. Connor has a BS in Environmental Science from UMass Amherst. In his free time, Connor enjoys camping, hiking, and cooking.

Favorite science project: As an experiment for an organic chemistry class, I synthesized aspirin during the lab component. My yield was extremely low, which inspired me to support researchers rather than become one!
