Favorite school science project: "In kindergarten, our class hatched chicks. It was so exciting! Each day we explored how an embryo grows and develops, which led to a lot of waiting by the incubator for any signs of hatching. We didn’t know it then, but we were developing a basic understanding of biology through direct experience with living things, their life cycles and their habitats."
