Senior Associate, Operations

Alex Keaney is part of the Operations team at LabCentral 238. His responsibilities include onboarding new residents, troubleshooting day-to-day issues, and ensuring residents are satiated in the cafés. If there is something you’d like to see in our cafés or conference rooms, he’s the guy to talk to. He’s spent over ten years working in, and closely with, restaurants and coffee shops in the Boston area. For fun, he enjoys playing music, reading, collecting records, and riding his bike.

 

Favorite Science experiment: When I was a kid, I snuck into inventor Wayne Szalinski's upstairs lab to retrieve an errant baseball. All of a sudden, his experimental shrink ray miniaturized me and my friends. When Szalinski returns home, he destroyed the device -- which he thought was a failure -- and dumped it in the trash, tossing us out along with it. The four of us then had to survive the journey back to the house through a yard with treacherous sprinklers and ants stampeding like elephants.
