Careers at LabCentral

Associate, Procurement

Who are we?

About LabCentral

Founded in the heart of Kendall Square in 2013, LabCentral is a network of shared laboratory spaces and scientific communities that serve as a launchpad for high-potential life-sciences and biotech start-ups. We deliver first-class facility and operational support, skilled laboratory personnel, and an expansive events program designed to add value to the community and promote connectivity ‒ as well as the other critical services and support that early-stage companies need to begin start-up operations.

What is this role?

Do you take pride in providing stellar customer service and helping others learn how to use new systems? Do you enjoy triaging various requests to provide a quick and effective response? Are you good with details, flexing your investigative side, and thinking critically about processes?

LabCentral is seeking a Procurement Associate. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, this role requires both organizational skills and willingness to provide high-quality customer service.

You’ll be the best fit for this role if you have 1-2 years of experience in a business administration, supply chain management, and/or a related role focusing on customer support and purchasing/receiving. Bonus points if you dream of being the person who can save the day when a scientist needs an item STAT, and are genuinely curious why ethidium bromide is a banned substance in our facility! Hard workers, critical thinkers, organizational nuts, and Excel wizzes are encouraged to apply!
